Abstract
The work on the mode-coupling theory (MCT) for molecular systems is extended by evaluating the mean-squared displacement (MSD) for a tagged particle. In particular, general features and some quantitative results for the evolution of the glassy dynamics as exhibited by the MSD are highlighted within the MCT for ideal liquid-glass transitions.
