Abstract

The consortium under the project name ROCCO develops in framework of an ESPRIT research project a system, which enables the fully automated masonry on the construction site. Companies and institutes participate in the EU foundet project in an inter-facultative and international approach with experts in the fields of construction technology, mechanical and electrical engineering and information technology from Germany, Spain and Belgium under the scientific coordination of Prof. Bock. Goal of the project is the development of a computer integrated robot system, which contains a continuous solution in the information technology for all steps from the architectural design to the automated assembly of the competents on the construction site. The solution parts, which are complemented with new concepts where necessary to an integrated total solution.
