Abstract
Elastic ("Bragg") scattering from antiferromagnetic spin superstructures in EuTe and VJ2 is observed in Raman scattering in form of new q = 0 phonon modes resulting from Brillouin zone foldings. The scattering intensity allows for the determination of the spin-dependent electron-phonon interaction and is a measure of the sublattice magnetization.
