Abstract

We consider sum rate maximization under linear baseband precoding in a multi-user multiple-input multiple-output scenario using wireless millimeter-wave communications. We present approaches based on previously existing algorithms, which test different stream configurations and use the projected gradient algorithm. By exploiting the geometrical structure of the millimeter-wave channels, we modify these methods in order to obtain a reduced computational complexity.
