Abstract

Two different yield detection systems using conveyor weighing technique on two different self propelled six row sugar beet harvesters (one side loading and one with bunker hopper) and a one row trailed potatoe harvester with bunker hopper have been examined. On the self propelled side loading sugar beet harvester and on the trailed potatoe harvester with bunker hopper the weighing system worked well. Using another measuring system on the six row sugar beet harvester with bunker hopper the reached accuraccy has not been satisfying.
