N2 - Green and biobased solvents are gaining increased interest as possible alternatives to organic solvents in multiple processes. The knowledge of liquid-liquid equilibria (LLE) of systems containing these groups of solvents is necessary for designing greener processes with biphasic liquid systems. In this study, the LLE values of the systems 2-methyltetrahydrofuran + ethanol + water, 2-methyltetrahydrofuran +1-butanol + water, cyclopentyl-methyl-ether + ethanol + water, and cyclopentyl-methyl-ether +1-butanol + water were measured at 298.15 K and 101.3 kPa. The experimental LLE data were successfully correlated to the nonrandom two-liquid model.
