Abstract
Parameters for nuclear level density formulas were determined for 310 nuclei from F to Cf applying the Back-Shifted Fermi Gas model (BSFG) and the Constant Temperature model (CT). The experimental parameters can be reproduced by simple formulas containing only values from atomic mass tables. These formulas can be used to predict unknown level densities.
