Abstract

Guideline for the reuse of steel components. The reuse of steel components can make a significant contribution to achieving climate targets. For the homogeneous industrially manufactured material, all material properties relevant for a next life cycle can be determined by a combination of non-destructive and destructive tests, supplemented by conservative assumptions. A corresponding guideline has been published to support planners in the reuse of steel components.
