In order to meet the increasingly dynamic and competitive environment, Lean Production and Industrie 4.0 represent two central management approaches of manufacturing companies. Within the framework of the presented study, companies were asked about the interaction between Lean Production and Industrie 4.0. The study provides an overview of the distribution of both approaches in the industry, their interrelation and the Potenzials that arise from the interaction.
