Abstract

The realisation of lean logistics systems is an important field of action to cope with volatile market conditions. Fast and flexible reaction to the customers' requirements are necessary. Today, methods for a structured and company-wide approach for a lean logistics implementation are missing to a large extent. This paper gives a first concept and shows the starting points for the development of substantial concepts for process optimisation and lean technical designing of logistics.
