Abstract
The laser induced fluorescence excitation spectra of the E3Σg-X 3Πu, F3Σg-X 3Πu, and G 3Πg-X 3Πu transitions of Al2 have been recorded. Rotationally resolved spectra have been obtained for the F3Σg-X 3Πu, and G 3Πg-X 3Πu transitions. In the latter case, a detailed rotational analysis allows the determination of the rotational and spin-orbit coupling constants of both states. Some additional observations concerning both the radiative and non-radiative decay pathways for these excited states are reported.
