Abstract

Data and consistency management helps to make the product lifecycle of material flow systems more efficient and less error-prone. Additionally, the transfer of this method from software development to material flow systems also yields the potential for process optimizations within the running system by using data science methods. This requires various preliminary work such as modelling organizational relations within the project, and context-wise dependencies of involved models, as well as a maturity model for generated data. This paper illustrates how, using this preliminary work, a continuous information flow along all phases of the product life cycle can be achieved.
