Abstract

In order to adapt to quickly changing market conditions and to cope with the challenges of Industry 4.0, manufacturing systems need to be reconfigurable. In this context, a new approach for configuration management for production planning is exposed in this paper. The main functions are modelling, mapping and selection of feasible configurations in production planning processes.
