Abstract
With replantation of the peripheral parts of the upper extremities usually simple axial Kirschner stitches are utilised to stabilise the bone fragments. The results of a follow up investigation of 102 patients with 176 replanted extremity parts are presented; the advantages and disadvantages of this treatment method are discussed.
