Abstract

At this lecture given at the 5th International Techtextil Symposium (Frankfurt, Germany, 1993) the basic properties of plain weft-knitted structures are characterized and the specific processing techniques for knitted-fibre-reinforced thermoplastics and their mechanical properties are described.
