Abstract

The wide spread implementation of lean logistics demands for tools to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the new processes. Logistics performance measurement can serve as one solution, but needs to be adapted to lean logistics. The following article assesses the current state of performance measurement in lean logistics context. Furthermore, a survey in the field of automotive logistics assesses the current development in industry. The results show need for action in research and industry.
