N2 - A novel method for frame synchronization and frequency offset estimation employing CAZAC sequences is demonstrated in a 256 Gb/s PDM-16QAM transmission system. The proposed algorithm is tolerant to residual CD, PMD, PDL and fast time-varying SOP rotation.
