Abstract

In this paper we propose a patch based approach for tracking points on planar regions. Once an adequate number of points to track is chosen from an image, their environments are locally matched without any further keypoint extraction. Starting from the result of the previous image as a prediction, the resulting homography is refined by repeating the matching process with patches transformed according to the last result.
