Abstract

Especially for inexperienced employees, these are not intuitively usable. A new operating concept for mast controls, in which the axis of movement of the operating element corresponds to the actual axis of movement of the machine, is intended to improve this. A study shows a reduction in operating errors as well as an increase in usability and intuitiveness, especially for inexperienced operators.
