Abstract
New methods of human-robot collaboration open a wide range of production applications. For effective human-robot interaction, new safety methods are developed and validated. Human beings as well as objects in the environment have to be detected and collision avoidance algorithms have to ensure the safety for persons and equipment. Hence, the functionality of an interactive robot-assistant will be demonstrated by a working cell on a real-world production scenario.
