Abstract
In order to achieve the climate goals, the European Commission has defined regulations for the reduction of CO2 emissions for trucks. Thus, commercial vehicle manufacturers soon have to offer electrified trucks on the market. To ensure a competitive production, the paper presents a process model for the digital planning of symbiotic assembly systems producing both electrified and conventional trucks.
