Abstract
This paper discusses an approach to reduce development times in design, assembly planning and assembly. This is done by the development of synchronized organization forms, powerful software tools and a flexible assembly system. After a short introduction the current situation is described. From this the most important targets will be derived and finally a specific solution will be presented.
