Abstract

The electron-HBr/DBr collision system was studied experimentally and theoretically. In the experimental part, relative differential cross sections were measured using two complementary instruments. For the theoretical part, ab initio calculations of potential-energy functions of HBr and HBr- were made. The comparison of experimental and theoretical results showed excellent agreement.
