N2 - This paper introduces a new concept for advanced driver assistance, which uses a predictive dynamical model of the vehicle in order to define the limits of the safe command for the vehicle. The first part of this document explains the needs of such predictive vehicle state models. Then the second part will describe the vehicle model based on transfer functions. Finally the use of this model will be explained on the last part and the possible extensions of the current methods will be pointed out.
