Abstract

Several Relayed—NOESY type pulse sequences are discussed which use spin‐lock periods for one or both of the two transfer steps. The use of such experiments for the sequence analysis of peptides is shown. The requirements for a successful application of special data processing techniques are explained. Even in conformationally rigid peptides where these conditions are no longer fulfilled, the 2D techniques described represent a sensitive and reliable method for the sequential assignment of the spin systems.
