Abstract
Intermolecular hydroamination of 1,3-cyclohexadiene with aniline using H-Beta and Zn/H-Beta zeolites as catalysts was investigated. The mechanism of hydroamination and the influence of the basicity of the arylamine on the reaction rate were studied. The most active catalyst was zeolite H-Beta, while the incorporation of Zn2+ (Zn/H-Beta) led to decreasing catalytic activity.
