Abstract

The increasing need for flexibility along with the present challenges of the demographic change leads to a conflict of objectives within industrial assembly. Besides organizational issues, innovative assistance systems have a huge effect on sustainability within hybrid workplaces regarding the assurance and enhancement of human productivity. This article identifies the primary areas of research for assistance systems on workplaces and presents their potential.
