Abstract
It is known, that patients in a Dermatology and Allergology departement are expected to have an elevated HIV-seroprevalence. Our investigation of 15.855 serum-samples from the allergy-laboratory confirms this trend. It is therefore recommended that with informed consent a complex HIV-testing be carried out on all dermatological and allergy patients.
