Abstract
Moisturising effect and compatibility of a skin care lotion containing Eucerit in patients with psoriasis undergoing UVB therapy. In an open test, the moisturising effect and compatibility of a skin care lotion containing Eucerit as an adjuvant to UVB radiation therapy in patients with psoriasis was examined. The level of dehydration of the skin according to Finlay did not increase significantly during the UVB therapy with administration of the skin care lotion. No specific side-effects in the sense of contact dermatitis were observed. Accordingly, the tested skin care lotion would appear to be suitable as a topical preparation administered as an adjuvant during UVB therapy of psoriasis.
