Abstract

Development of grid models for use with cascaded H-bridge multilevel inverter based battery energy storage system is discussed. Different approaches for grid modelling are described. Using these approaches, grid models are developed and their interactions with the cascaded H-bridge multilevel inverter based battery energy storage system are determined and explained in terms of harmonic spectrums and total harmonic distortion values.
