Abstract

Health literacy addresses the management of health-related information. This includes the abilities of the individual, but also the responsiveness of the healthcare system. However, despite significant progress in the last decade, the need for scientific development is still high, e.g., with regard to digitalization, instrument and intervention development, the role of health professions, and utilization of prevention potentials from an early age.
