Abstract
Adenoma of the liver are rare, but benign tumors. Their occurrence is more frequent in women in reproductive age and are linked to the ingestion of oral anticonceptiva. The incidence per year ranges between 3-4 cases in 100 000. We present a rare case of pedunculated, total exophytic growing sole adenoma of the liver (13.5 x 15 cm) in a 26 y.o. woman, The resection of the adenoma was performed by cut through the peduncle of normal liver parenchyma. The patient is in excellent condition without tumor recurrence 3 years after the operation.
