Abstract

The adequate supply of up-to-date information related to the control of production systems is an important prerequisite for the realization of a robust and adaptive planning and control of production processes in small-batch and individualized production. In addition to the administration, structuring and provision of the essential data, a suitable modeling of these data is indispensable. This paper presents a holistic and extendible data model for cognitive production systems, where product-, process- and resource-related data are efficiently represented. This data model can be used as a basis for the planning and control of automated, hybrid and manual process operations.
