N2 - ClCS was produced with a pulsed jet-dc discharge of Cl2CS/Ar, CS2/Cl2/Ar, and CS2/CCl4/Ar and deposited forming an argon matrix. The vibrational frequencies for ν1 and ν3 are determined to be 1189.3 and 632.1 cm-1, respectively. Isotopic substitution experiments and normal coordinate calculations were performed to confirm the assignments.
