Abstract

Industrial companies regularly face new challenges that need to be overcome. Many of these challenges originate from discontinuities. To manage these, a suitable foresight system is needed. Despite the multitude of existing approaches, no approach has yet been explored that explicitly addresses production-related discontinuities and their impacts. Therefore, this paper presents a methodology adressing that purpose.
