Abstract
The K-shell vacancies in light elements was observed by X-ray fluorescence, using coherent laser harmonics as the excitation sources. The dynamic changes of K-shell chemical shifts during ultrafast molecular dynamics was observed. Sample radiation was detected with an energy-dispersive x-ray spectrometer.
