Abstract
A fast spectral domain algorithm is presented for rapid solution of planar surface integral equations. The method of moments coupling integral matrix is formulated in the spectral domain but not explicitly calculated. Thus, in conjunction with an iterative equation solver, the pertinent matrix/vector products are evaluated with complexity O(n) where n is the number of unknowns. Validation and timing results are presented for an array analysis approach using a hybrid finite element (FE)-boundary integral implementation.
