Abstract

Studies using 3 soils (0.70-3.33 % of org. C) with 14 ¹⁴C-labelled pesticides (log K(ow) between-0.80 to + 6.9) in the range of 10-20 ng/g have been performed by ultrasonic extraction with methanol-aceton-water = 30:30:40. Recoveries yielded 75-90 % for compounds of log K(ow) ≤ 5 with the exception of compounds containing 2 free amino groups.
