Abstract
In some subjects, specific foods trigger anaphylaxis only in conjunction with physical exercise (food-dependent exercise-induced anaphylaxis = FDEIA). We examine the case of an otherwise healthy 40-year-old caucasian woman admitted to our hospital with a history of allergic rhinoconjunctivitis due to birch pollen and unclear episodes of untoward reactions after eating various foods.
