Abstract
Two examples, taken from the fluid dynamics in food technology, illustrate how helpful even a simple method of flow visualization could be. Alcoholic fermentation in cylindro-conical tanks and hydrodynamics of a wort kettle with an external heater are investigated. An interesting result was found in the former while this experiment in the second example provided useful hints for developing structure models for some analytical methods. (from paper)
