Abstract
Data-driven methods such as Predictive Maintenance and optimization with machine learning algorithms call for a high availability and a good quality of data. The required data is handled within a variety of systems along the process plant lifecycle depending on the lifecycle phase and involved stakeholders. An information model can facilitate the successful utilization of data among the different systems. Particularly in brownfield plants and their long lifecycles, information models encounter challenges regarding the up-to-dateness of data. Process plants are subject to constant change, e.g., due to retrofitting, further developments and optimization or modification of the processes. In this contribution, a concept for co-evolution of information models is developed, which ensures the consistency and timeliness of the model even in case of changes in the plant. The approach is based on human-centred augmented reality concepts.
