Abstract
In 1990, the first remeasurement of permanent inventory sample plots, established on the Bavarian state forests, took place on one management unit of the Ebrach forest district. Changes in the amount of data between both inventories and data quality are evaluated. The increment of individual trees is demonstrated by the example of beech. The areal increment is calculated by three methods. A method of increment prognosis for the next decade is proposed. Further investigations are made about the removed growing stock and changes in value. Thusly, essential preliminary work has been done for realization of a standard method.
