Abstract

On page 4, right column, second paragraph, in the subsection Oxygen release at high state of charge., the comment regarding the absence of carbon monoxide in parentheses at the end of the first sentence needs to be eliminated due to a reevaluation of the OEMS data. Instead, after the discussion on the evolution of carbon dioxide above ~80 %SOC on page 5, right column, third paragraph, the following comment on the evolution of carbon monoxide needs to be added: (Formula Presented). The values for the thickness of the oxygen-depleted surface layer in the last row of Table I of the original publication change accordingly to 1.2, 3.4, and 4.1 nm for PC-60, PC-85, and SC-85, respectively.
