Abstract

A 44 years old female developped a pancreatic pseudocyst (diameter 25 cm) two years after an acute pancreatitis which was due to a hyperlipoproteinemia. Endoscopically the posterior wall of the stomach was pushed into the corpus by the cyst. At this location an incision with a needle papillotoma was done. After that the incision was dilatated with a precut-papillotoma and a nasal-cystic drainage was placed into the cyst. Through this artificial connection an endoscop was passed into the cyst. During the following eight months it was possible to drainage the cyst completely through a double pigtail catheter.
