Abstract

In the framework of chronic diseases, a large space is occupied by inflammatory and degenerative processes of the vertebrae and joints. The mastering of these diseases which may in part lead to disablement presupposes a specific application of various diagnostic procedures and requires great patience on the part of the patient and therapist during rehabilitation. Since, despite the most modern methods of treatment, no quick and spectacular results can be achieved. Besides discussion of these clinical data, problems of social medicine are also discussed.
