Abstract

This document provides information about the current development status for energy management and introduces a new approach for automated energy management by means of an MES based on a hybrid modeling approach. The objective of this new approach is to not only monitor but also forecast and control the energy consumption in production plants in real time. This helps companies to save energy and money.
