Empirical Analysis and Solution Designs for Goals and Metrics in Large-Scale Agile Software Development

This dissertation addresses a central research problem arising from the increasing relevance of scaled agile software development environments and the concurrent research deficit regarding metrics in this context. An empirical analysis of the goals and metrics within large-scale agile development environments is conducted. On this foundation, scientific solution artifacts are developed that support the goal-based implementation, operation, and scaling of metrics.
