Abstract

We study nucleon electromegnetic polarizabilities in the framework of chiral soliton models with inclusion of vector mesons. We show that a calculation consistent with gauge invariance leads to values for electric and magnetic polarizabilities which are in good agreement with presently existing empirical data.
