Abstract

We report electrically-tunable quarter waveplate metasurfaces composed of plasmonic gratings coupled to intersubband transitions in multiple-quantum wells. Experimentally, 0.2µm of operating wavelength tuning near 6.4µm wavelength was obtained applying bias voltage from -1V to -3V.
