Abstract
In the field of sheet metal deep drawing technology, efforts are focused on maximum utilization of materials formability. One approach consists in accentuating the force of deformation by low-frequency vibrations. The maximum effect of applying vibration on formability occurs in the frequency range around 5 Hz and at amplitudes which lead directly to the phase-type stress relief of the workpieces.
